In the past two years, orders and deliveries of product # did not look so optimistic for us. When we purchase, the procurement lead time is 3 months. However, there is one thing you may aware of: at the time of our procurement, we heard that X had placed an order but they cancelled it later, so the supplier had stock. Therefore, whether 3 months is a regular procurement lead time needs to be re-confirmed between your company and the Japanese supplier.
For your consideration, when we first procured from the supplier, it took us about a month for the authentication of our information . We do not know whether you are in a similar situation or not after your company changed the information.
Most of all, because it has been two years since our last procurement, we are not very sure of the validity of the above information. Please consider the situations and confirm with the supplier.
