The power of humour could be used to get a person out of a tight spot. Humour can also be applied in self introduction in a match-making party. Usuallu humourous people are well like by many. That is the reasons many comedy or talk shows were hosted in the television stations. A life without humour would be boring, there will be no laughters, everyone would be pulling a long face. Therefore I advocate that all of us must have a sense of humour
I want to cut into this topic with a small story. It is a scene that takes place in a TV series---IPARTMENT season3. In the episode of this is a miracle, Meijia Chen is served as a college teaching assistant who is responsible for helping input students’ grades into computer. Unfortunately, Chen carelessly makes a mistake that ink spilled all over the transcript the first day on the job. By coincidence, there comes the student Wang asking for his own grades. He looks upset because he has failed this class exam five times. Worse still, definitely thinking can’t pass this time, Wang is filled with suicide psychological. In the meantime, Chen is also in confusion because of the unrecognizable grades. But when Chen realized Wang’s low mood, a brave idea appeared. There is a part of their dialogue. W: Teacher, you just tell me the grades and I will jump from the floor with the same height as the grades. C: Boy, you are likely to be upset, because there aren’t existing so high buildings. Your mark is 83. W: That’s impossible! I just finished ten choice questions. C: Oh, this is a miracle, you must believe it. And then just believe your life.
Obviously, this courage words had a great positive influence on the dilemma boy. Although in the end the grade was corrected as 38, the boy still believes the life will be a miracle. In all, I want to say that there is power of life and death in the tongue, an encouraging word to someone who is down can lift them up and help them make it through the day.
